The dog diapers are made of a breathable, waterproof, nylon fabric, which
when used in conjunction with a disposable baby diaper/pad, will aid in
protecting your furniture, floor coverings and pet's bedding. The Small-XXL
trousers have Velcro flaps (inside) that are specifically made to conform
and attach to a baby diaper with Velcro tabs which has a tremendous
amount of absorption. The XXS series uses a Serenity pad which adheres
to the inside body of the fabric.
The washable doggie diapers are not designed to capture feces.
Once the trousers are adjusted properly to fit your pet, it will stay in position
whether they sit, stand, rough-house or move about. It will not pull down
behind their rear-end even if the disposable baby diaper/pad is completely

I couldn't find any testimonials about cats on your website, so I was a little apprehensive in spending money on this product. I have a cat that is incontinent and although he's been in diapers for awhile...I felt bad for him because to keep the diapers on him, I had to really snug them up...and it was actually wearing the hair off him in spots. They also didn't fit quite right and I always found myself trying to modify them to try to get them to fit right. I've tried almost every brand out there and was surfing around when I came upon your product. I ordered your product and my cat's life has changed!! He wasn't real thrilled at first (not unlike when I put him in diapers). He walked backwards the first night trying to get out of it...I was a little nervous that he wouldn't get used to it...but after about a week he seemed pretty much back to normal.. "Just writing to say thanks for such a brilliant design.
Rita is our 6 year old, 8.5 lb long-haired Chihuahua mix that was recently rescued
from a mill. She was, understandably, a fearful mess when she came into our
home, but her rehabilitation was complicated by urinary incontinence. After spending
countless hours (& dollars) at veterinary specialists, we discovered Rita's urogenital
anatomy is very abnormal -- I'll spare you the details. This turns out to be a blessing
and a curse. Because of the abnormal anatomy she was never able to have
puppies, therefore she ended up in a rescue. Unfortunately, her incontinence made
it impossible for her to have the run of the house like a "normal" dog. You can
imagine my guilt, after having lived behind bars for her first 6 years, I had to confine
her again (to tile floors & a puppy corral).
I tried regular doggy diapers found at pet stores, but because of her long hair they
slipped off and the fur on her hind-end smelled of urine.
I was desperate when I came upon the Tinkle Trousers website. Although I was
skeptical, I was willing to try anything, so I placed an order. I ordered the XXS based
on the size guidelines which are pretty straight forward. I was so happy to receive the
trousers 2 days after I placed my order (sooner than expected).
At first I thought, "there is no way these will work". I adjusted the straps, but the
trousers still looked a little baggy underneath. Consulting the website I realized that
that is part of the design. The trousers aren't tight or confining. She has free range of
motion whether running, sitting, or laying down.
The first week was interesting. Because of her fear of humans, I was worried it
would be impossible to get the trousers on. Once they were on, she walked a little
lop-sided (or backwards!). It looked like she was trying to step over whatever was
under her belly. It took about 4 days, and finally she started romping around and
enjoying the run of the house with her fur brother & sister!!!
I ordered a second pair so that when one is in the wash we will always have a set in
use.
There are no words to convey what a difference these trousers have made in L'il
Rita's life! She has made enormous progress in trusting humans, and these
trousers have made it possible for normal interactions with people in our home. She
is no longer corralled off in a corner of the house, and she has recently started
snuggling with us on the couch & in bed!! There is NO smell, and there are NO
leaks!!
It has been a few months, and while Rita still has a long way to go behaviorally, the
trousers have made the incontinence a non-issue. The trousers come off for walks
and when she's outdoors, so potty breaks just take an extra minute or two.
Overall, I couldn't be more thrilled with the trousers. People who aren't aware of her
problem think she is just wearing an outfit.

on the size guidelines which are pretty straight forward. I was so happy to receive the
trousers 2 days after I placed my order (sooner than expected).
At first I thought, "there is no way these will work". I adjusted the straps, but the
trousers still looked a little baggy underneath. Consulting the website I realized that
that is part of the design. The trousers aren't tight or confining. She has free range of
motion whether running, sitting, or laying down.
The first week was interesting. Because of her fear of humans, I was worried it
would be impossible to get the trousers on. Once they were on, she walked a little
lop-sided (or backwards!). It looked like she was trying to step over whatever was
under her belly. It took about 4 days, and finally she started romping around and
enjoying the run of the house with her fur brother & sister!!!
I ordered a second pair so that when one is in the wash we will always have a set in
use.
There are no words to convey what a difference these trousers have made in L'il
Rita's life! She has made enormous progress in trusting humans, and these
trousers have made it possible for normal interactions with people in our home. She
is no longer corralled off in a corner of the house, and she has recently started
snuggling with us on the couch & in bed!! There is NO smell, and there are NO
leaks!!
It has been a few months, and while Rita still has a long way to go behaviorally, the
trousers have made the incontinence a non-issue. The trousers come off for walks
and when she's outdoors, so potty breaks just take an extra minute or two.
Overall, I couldn't be more thrilled with the trousers. People who aren't aware of her
problem think she is just wearing an outfit.
What a difference in Rita's quality of life. We can't thank you enough!

"OMG...Tinkle Trousers is truly a blessing. Our little Maltese, Bella,
decided she didn't want to be potty trained anymore. She was
starting to ruin all our flooring and we were at our wits-end. We took
anyone would recommend. Then one night, I was googling for
HELP, when I found this website...I read all the testimonials and we
put in on Bella, totally thinking it wouldn't work and she would we

worked, our little guy would just rub his belly on the carpet and off the belly band came. His
tongue is always sticking out because he only had three teeth due to neglect.
